JOHN
WORKMAN

John lives in Muskegon, MI, with Kathy, his wife and is the owner of several manufacturing companies in Muskegon.

John has been flying since 1988 and has been flying formation since about 1998. He holds aviation certificates for single land/sea, multi-engine land, commercial and IFR. John is a charter member of the Hooligans.

John is also a pilot for the Wings of Mercy, flying patients who couldn't otherwise afford to get there, to medical destinations.

RICK
CREPAS

Rick hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan with his wife, Lauren. He is a residential realtor in Kalamazoo and is the owner of a security systems business. Rick also holds a degree in Engineering and has traveled the world working in that capacity.

Rick has been a licensed pilot since 2001 and has his commercial with instrument rating. He has been flying formation informally since 2003 and formally since 2009. Rick has been flying with the Hooligans for two years.

Rick is a Lt. Col. with the Civil Air Patrol. He is also the Emergency Services Director for the State of Michigan and is an SAR/DR pilot with over 100 actual missions.

Rick and his Mentor have appeared in a movie as well.  (Official Trailer for The Mourning)

CHUCK
STAUFFER

Chuck was born in Battle Creek Michigan. He still calls that his home today while splitting his time at his property in Northern Michigan.

Chuck is a father of three grown children, Christopher, Sara and Derek. Christopher’s family is growing with a son and daughter.

Chuck has been flying over 30 years and holds a Single Engine Land with an Instrument Rating license. He began formation flying almost as long ago using a dog-eared T-34 formation manual from team member Tom Hibiske.

Chuck is a member of the T-34 Association, Warbirds of America, EAA, and the AOPA. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for over 20 years. He served on the Battle Creek Airport Advisory Board as a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Working out of the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base for CAP gave him a great source of pride and admiration for the Military. He feels humbled and privileged to be able to continue to support the Veterans and the community with the large amount of flying the Hooligans do for them throughout the year.

BILL
KLUNGLE

Bill is a retired Corporate Pilot. He holds ATP, CFI, CFII, MCFI certificates and recently received the FAA’s Master Pilot award. With 12,000+ flight hours in over 50 years of flying, he has been with the Hooligan Flight Team since 2001.

Bill lives with his wife Peg in Grand Haven, Michigan. They have two married daughters, two granddaughters and one grandson, He is an active member of the United Church of Christ, the American Legion, NBAA, EAA, AOPA, and JLFC. He also enjoys Tennis, Pickleball and Golf.

RUSS
BORSTELMAN

Russ Borstelman lives in Napoleon, OH with his wife of fifty years, Carol. They are the parents of three children and the grandparents of five.

Russ is a retired from a career in the cold storage industry and Carol is a retired Infection Control RN.

Russ started flying over fifty five years ago and has been formation flying since 1995. He has been a member of the Hooligan Flight Team since 2006. In addition, he is a US Army veteran with memberships in both military and civic organizations.
